I hate that they are skipping so much time rushing through these plots. That was one thing the original GOT did well. Pacing. You actually saw the kid actors grow up throughout the seasons. I grew attached to them.

I feel you on growing attached to them over the years, but that was actually a knock on GOT…the actors grew up faster than the characters. Had Hodor wheeling around a 6’2” Bran so the audience forgot that he was still supposed to be a little kid. Also made events from preceding seasons seem like they were further in the past than they really were.
