Ever since I was 9 and walked into a Funcoland and seen what they were giving you for SNES games I knew them stores were fukking you. I till this day can't understand how someone can go in and take 10 bucks or so for something they paid $60 for. The struggle must be real,

What's even worse is what they offer you for a game you just bought

I remember when that new unreal tournament for the Xbox 360 game out I bought it the day it came out, $60. Game sucked went 4 days later to take I mean this shyt was immaculate condition, dude at rape stop was like $22 am like yo look at the receipt it's less than a work week old, nopeee ain't budget

Honestly there part of the reasons why when I was gaming I only bought games I knew I would play not just every old game that dropped

I dont sell video games or old systems. When I was younger i always ended up missing the sh*t I sold. Sport games are different though, I still wait for the new one to drop before i sell the old one

Selling games, getting ripped off, and having to rebuy games is not cool. Don't sell your sh*t, I still got my Sega Genesis

I wish I was this smart years ago when I sold my Dreamcast...I was feeling good off that XBOX and the Dreamcast was just sitting around collecting dust so I sold it to my boy(with Shenmue & others) for like $30

Still have my OG SNES, but I'll forever regret letting my Dreamcast go

Exactly I ended up getting 370 for my xbox one when I sold it I doubt gamestop would of even given me 250. All on craigslist.

I'll say what I've been saying for years and years, if you step foot into a Gamestop, you already lost. The stores are disgusting and you're asking to get screwed. There are far better options out there.

Just have to know how to take advantage of them.

B2G1 is the only time to go in there...scoop up all the titles you want and rape them with the discounts.

You can get anywhere from 20-25% off online if you stack codes correctly.

Maybe. Prolly let one of the lil nikkas working there take that shyt home n bring it back. They remove the games from the cases for whatever reason when they cop em a lot of the time. Check for scratches n shyt if you buy it there, breh.

that sounds like a local problem, i doubt people do that at most gamestops

You gotta time it when they have those trade-in specials (Usually for more recent Games): Game Trade In - Video Game Trade in Values and Prices | GameStop
I've gotten up to $34 in credit for FIFA, GTA, 2K, COD, etc...
Put that towards a new game that's coming out and essentially get the game 1/2 off..
Its annoying, but if you do it enough times, you won't have to pay full price for the newer games you purchase.

Haven't been in a Gamestop since I grabbed Skyrim on release day back in '11 Any game trade ins I do are done solely with Amazon, and recently Target when they were running their triple trade in value deal. I try to hold on to my games, though. I regret letting Saint's Row 2 go.

I went into a Game Stop benzed out of my find.

I end up walking out with some PS4 head phones, Lightening Returns (I havent event touched XIII-2), Serenity on Blu Ray and I some how had the ability to sign up for some Power Up shyt.

All I wanted was to buy some hiking Timbs at the next store.
