I think So Seductive was just a safe hit for Tony. They really couldn't go extra hood, couldn't go super pop... the song just felt right.

Tony Yayo was liked up until Game went on his anti G Unit rampage and convinced the world that he was a 42 year old child slapping Soulja Boy level rapper. You forget the whole Free Yayo movement. I feel like if he never got locked up and was on most of Beg For Mercy there wouldve never been the whole "Yayo is garbage" stigma

Those 2 singles wouldve made anybody pop regardless, Yayo's debut was fire, Yayo is loyal to 50, Game turned on 50. Yayo deserved it more

He dropped an album at the height of the unit and only went gold. That was lukewarm for the unit at that point.

Game completed G-Unit. They had the OG unit for NY, Buck for the South, and it extended 50s run to have a breh for the West.

I'm not talking about who was loyal to who, I'm talking about success. It's like 50 blew up a 2nd time when they introduced Game.

His album didnt have any major smash crossover hits like the other members did and that also played a part in him not going platinum, had he had those 2 singles he wouldve went platinum.

Would he have gone 5 times platinum? Doubtful but Game had more of a background story, bringing the west back, shot 5 times, blood, and WAY more of a push than any other G Unit member for their solo albums(besides 50). Game definitely wouldntve gone 5 times platinum if So Seductive was his first single tho. 50 or G Unit didnt need Game at all at that point.. every album was already going platinum but that huge push made Game become the 2nd most popular member and that only hurt them in the end when Games numbers came out and his ulterior motives came to light.

Game revived a whole coast, there's no-one in that camp that deserved it better.

Everybody Fif was fukkin wit @ that time went plat. Yayo went gold with no solid singles. Hell, Fif coulda kept those joints for himself or Banks 2nd album.

Fif revived the west. W/o him, Game woulda kept strippin and probably offed himself.

Buck The World and Rotten Apple flopped compared to their debuts, they didnt go platinum. Yayo dropped his album in the midst of D Block and Games onslaught of diss tracks not to mention the same day Late Registration came out, everything was bad timing for him.

And in hindsight he wasn't a better choice considering everything that followed his success. Musically sure he was.. but was it really worth it? He blew up off of those singles and ended up beefing with G Unit and dropping countless diss tracks that contributed to G Units fall in popularity. I'm sure 50 wouldve done things differently if he could go back and do it over.

There wouldve been more money to make in the long run than in that short period of time had Game not been there to fukk everything up.
