I turned on my ps4 for the first time in months to play a quick game before heading out and I couldn't even play the fukking game because not only did I had to update the system, I also had to update the fukking game itself. I left it on to update, went out, came back home around 1am hoping for a quick game before bed only to find out it was still fukking updating . Seriously, I understand they have to update the system and the games to improve it but this shyt is ridiculous. I had to go bed without playing anything and because I'm busy I won't be gaming for a few weeks. And no doubt when I turn it on then, there'd be new updates waiting for me. fukk this

Isn't there anyway they could make these long ass updates short? I miss he ps1/2 days when I could just play whenever I wanted.

if it's a single player game you know you can skip updates right? if you're in a hurry just skip it breh come on be smart

Updates and patches are necessary inconveniences. I completely understand what the op means. You boot up your ps4 and you're ready to just jump in the game and play, but low and behold their is a game update or system update you must complete first.

yea on ps3 that was a problem for me especially because i had a shytty internet connection. But on my ps4 + my fast internet connection it's not even a problem. shyt takes less than 10 minutes to download.
