use a subscription service AND Buy old ass games then pretend people don’t play old ass games AND use subscription services brehs :mjlol:
I don't know what you were trying to do here but congrats?

You responded to me showing you playing and enjoying old ass games, by pretending old ass games hold no value. Then turned around and talked about the old ass games you bought on disount

nikkas crazy :mjlol:
You see, this is the stupid shyt you do to get people caught in an infinite loop of back and forths. I never said old games hold no value, that's a strawman you guys like to use. I simply have always maintained that old games are not that big of a SELLING point when it comes to buying a new console or moving the needle.

It's cool if it's there or whatever, but it's not the sole focus especially at the beginning of a new gen where people want NEW stuff. BC for the previous gen which is there is sufficient, but PS5 didn't sell worse because it lacked native PS1~PS3 BC and likewise Xbox didn't get a boost in sales because some people can pop in Blinx the Time Sweeper to play on Xbox Series X.

Anyway I'm out, good chatting but I'm about to finish marking up some charts on Tradingview, then hop on old ass Hollow Knight and then maybe Sonic Racing :wow:

This thread only exists because gamepass for january has lots of big games that i have not played, that i want to play.

There’s nothing to argue about unless gamepass having a good month bothers some of you.

Get some help

but you have multiple paragraphs of text trying to convince someone why Gamepass is better and PS+ is inferior.

I "ran" in here with sarcasm in response to The Stan Titan's post suggesting people are missing out on games because they don't have have Gamepass.
My post is responding to Titan, why you trying to fit your argument in between it is kind of weird.

Who was talking about looking for cheaper ways to get Gamepass? You posted steam prices of games on PC acting like people don't use other sites to get keys for games much cheaper. I've been using those key seller sites for over a decade with no issues. This "get your CC stolen!" response is just pure ignorance.

There's plenty of legitimate sites to buy keys for Steam. Again this also assumes I don't want to own the game. I want the game in my library for me to play whenever I want to. There's very limited situations where I opt to just sub to Gamepass to play a game and not buy it. I've only done that with Claire Obscure(which I ended up buying on a third party site) and last year Ghost of Tsushima which I just wanted to quickly run through.

Mad Titan did, I just said "you guys" since you two love bringing that up often . He did in this thread earlier.

This literally has nothing to do with my post, you just short circuited and are trying to find a way to deflect from what I said on some "Man you're not even worth my time" shyt. :mjlol:

I don't need your validation on whether I'm a hardcore/casual gamer, the fukk you think you are? The arbiter of gaming? "casual gamer" literally has no definitive meaning. Ask 100 people and they'll tell you something different. If "casual" to you means not constantly advertising a rental service and cold selling it to random people on a forum then maybe that's what it is.

How would you even know what I'm keeping up? Do I check in with you to give you my opinion on the state of gaming every week? :camby: dummy.

I don't think I've even uttered the term "economy" in regards to the US economy once on this entire site. :dahell:

Look whose writing the paragraphs now. :mjpls:

Gamepass simply isn't a great value for me. I'd rather own half those games, than pay for access to the whole lot. Its not the $30/month, its the $360/year and $720 over 2 years that's problematic. That pays for a shyt-ton of discounted games. I say this as someone who has paid for Gamepass.

And the cherry on top is as soon as you cancel your membership you lose access to all of them

How many times have a gamepass day one game released dlc a year later and they got go back in buy the game anyway lol

That silksong dlc ain’t gonna release until it’s off gamepass for example

"I only paid $500 this year for Gamepass and beat all the games I wanted to play, if you didn't that's your problem you don't understand economics, you know I shouldn't even be talking to you.:hubie:"

okay, no troll here but why was this even thread worthy?

what game up there is supposed to spark excitement, and if so why haven't you already played it?

Gamepass is a good service when it has something exciting on it, I subbed for a few months for Wuchang and I felt that was a good deal as the game was new and good.

these are mostly old games, or low cost indies. what is the point of this thread.
