When Final fantasy III (6). I spent an entire week trying to beat it from Blockbuster. I had to pay 20 dollars in late fees. It was worth every dollar. Then I went to Funcoland and put myself on the wait-list to buy it.

Final Fantasy VII isn’t the best Final Fantasy because it’s the one that turned the franchise into an emo fashion show with daddy issues.

Yes, it revolutionized 3D RPGs, but so did Windows 95 for computing. The story is a bloated mess of eco-preaching, convoluted pseudoscience, and identity crises.

Cloud. The man is a mannequin with the emotional range of wet toast. Just a brooding, spiky-haired memory thief who got confused about who he even was, and the audience somehow let that slide because he had a big sword.

Sephiroth. Man is a mommy-obsessed coat rack. The guy's arc is: "I read my 23andMe results and now I want to destroy the planet." He looks like he wandered off the set and started quoting Nietzsche after one puff of Mako gas.

Nobody gives a shyt about the game if Aerith didn't get stabbed.
