Games or series with major fandom that you always thought sucked?

Castlevania...now hear me out
, SoTN is the GOAT in my opinion, but the games before and many of them after, have been pure 
. Lords of Shadow was good, the sequel went full retard and since then I don't see much going to the vania games.
MGS - Kojima is a genius no doubt But he really only had two great games. Are they the best? of course, but after MGS1 and 4, he could've stopped.
TLOU - A darkly beautiful tale, but the game mechanics are clunky. The fanatics will defend everything about it, but for me the gameplay was "meh" at best.
Horizon- Great gimmick, but a boring ending and bland characters made me play the game rather slowly and reluctantly.
Persona - Loved the Shin Megami Tensei series, but now its just feels like Pokemon, a whole lot of fluff and no substance.
