Dragon Quest 11, there’s a whole nother game once you finish the main game. Like a legit 40 hour new game

The story ends on a good enough note in Act 2 and 3 would’ve completely undermined Veronica's sacrifice

Tales Of Arise has to be the worst case of this in recent memory. it's the "Return of the King" of videogames in that it had a logical end point after a certain boss but then unnecessarily dragged on for 10 more hours and the game is worse off for it. One of the most egregiously padded out games I've ever completed
Agreed. That game needed to be cut down to about 40 hours. I just lost interest and quit

Final Fantasy 7 Remake is long for no reason at all.

The destroyed building climb towards the end took forever.

Maybe its because I didnt really care about them like that anyway, but all of the Gears of War games felt like to me. :unimpressed:

It does, it’s like they were afraid to commit to it or something and wanted an even happier ending. I consider the act 2 ending the true ending :yeshrug:

most games honestly. unless it's an indie or low budget game or they had time constraints. if you just let a developer go off they're gonna add padding. they can't resist.

I loved AC Odyssey. Probably my second favorite next to AC2. It was a literal Odyssey. The main story + the Cult of Cosmos arc :wow: The Atlantis DLC was needlessly dragged out and a chore to get through, though.
