Games that exceeded and didn't live up to your expectations

What games released across all systems that you actually was surprised at how good of a title it and what games actually disappointed you?

For me it has to be
GTA V probably one of the best open world games ever. The sheer detail put into every cranny of this game is amazing.

NBA2K this generation has shown the improvements of 2K sports.

Knack excellent the kids loved it.

Walking Dead series thought the game was going to be some point n click shyt CSI Galaxy Note type app store shyt

Shenmue the first one. I recall having the big ass Sega Dreamcast magazine and it discussing this title. shyt is one of the best game I have ever played

Mass Effect 2 amazing

Disappointment
GTA IV shyt was horrible boring and lacked that GTA feeling. The add on Gay Tony was excellent though

Madden this generation

Halo 5 online is fun but the story is done.

Mass Effect 3 say no more

Rainbow Six Seige shyt was wack and boring

Bloodborne exceeded my expectations by miles

Left 4 Dead was played for thousands of hours, i wouldn't had thought it would be that good

Games that disappointed me:
Fallout 4, Bethesda hadn't made a Fallout game in years and this game is dope but not what i thought it should be

Bioshock Infinite, just a terrible game with shytty characters, racial undertones that fail and that combat was awful

NBA 2K5- It was $20 and I remember just not having the money for Live that year and not having high hopes about it. Hadn't really fooled with live since then.
Def Jam Fight for NY- First one was cool but they got everything right on the second installment
GTA SA- Liked the series but was never a huge fan of it until this one. Got everything right and had great character development.
Zelda Windwaker- Had never played a Zelda game before, never saw the hype. Made me a big fan of the series as a whole.

Fell Below
WCW Nitro- Thought they were about to put out something similar to the wrestling games on 64 for PSX and it took like a long time for it to come out. Just trash gameplay all around.
State of Emergency- Game was hyped up as being GTA on steroids with like a 100 people on screen. Redundant from beginning to the end.
GTA IV- Expectations were too big coming from SA to this one. Decent just wasn't what I was expecting.

The game came out 11 years ago football that is and Madden still hasn't top their challenge system animations player interaction head tracking I mean I could go on and on. The football will be as popular as NBA2K
