haven't listened to it in years...great album at the time.
beats are the best thing about the album...Game as an MC is awful on it.

i can't imagine how worse it would have been if Dre wasn't coaching him through the struggle rapping all over the great beats on there.
don't really care for him as a rapper but i'll always giving him credit for improving as an mc over time.

This album is a classic...I remember when I first heard it I was just like :ohhh::dwillhuh::gladbron::merchant::bryan::whoo::ooh::ohlawd::krs:

Those beats, them features....from top to bottom....this album made Game a star..and if 50 put his ego aside..G-Unit would have been around for a few more years..

Amazing how 50 wrote all these songs but can't even get an album release date now

50 will never admit do to his ego but he gave up a long time ago

as for the documentary it was a very good borderline classic for its time especially considering all the trash that was coming out at the time......i recently revisited it and honestly i didnt realize how sub par as a mc game was back them and how much the production and hooks/features carried the album....personally i preferred doctors advocate.......

Real classic west coast albums
Straight out of Compton
nikkaz 4 Life
Uncle Sam's Curse
Death Certificate
Amerikkas Most wanted
MATW
All Eyes
Bow Down
We Come Strapped
Rhytamilism
Straight Checkn em
Quik the Name
Chronic

I can go on and on and the Documentary doesn't compare to any of these albums. Didn't even mention Short or 40 classics. It's so many more Doc is a fake west coast album.

It is a classic. The West Coast and 50 Cent helped him sell more. The Game had everybody had to cop that album because he's from West Coast and Blood. The first they saw him was Jim Jones' Certified Gangstas and they saw him on G-Unit bandana was like "yo, who is this n!gga". Game killed with the opening verse on Certified Gangstas then him and 50 Cent singles>>>>>Buck or Banks or Yayo with 50 Cent singles. 50 Cent and The Game were perfect chemistry.

That n!gga was "Super Gangster" to everybody cuase he's blood unitl he became a joke with tattos on his face, etc.

SINY!!
I couldn't listen to the album now.....the beats carried him more then I thought. The timing, anticipation, the fact that no one out West was really doing from a mainstream point, etc......he dropped during the perfect storm. Had it dropped at any other time, I don't know that he becomes as success as he did.
