Games you tried multiple times and just couldn’t get into?

For me it has to be death stranding, I bought it day 1 because of Kojima but hated it, then a year later my cousin told me it was dope and something was wrong with me for not liking it. So I thought hmmmm maybe I didn’t give it a chance. Bought it again and absolutely hated it still.


Finally a few months until death stranding 2 dropped and seeing people legit hyped for it I thought let me try again maybe I am missing what’s so great about it. And yet it still sucks, finally given up on the game and will never entertain another Death stranding title.

I'm currently having this issue with Persona 3. I've gotten at best, maybe 15 hours into one of the iterations and I've bought almost every one of them but for some reason, I just can't get deep enough into it before I lose interest or something else drops or something. It's a good game, I can see that, but I think I just got into it too late when its predecessors had already gotten me with better mechanics and more interesting characters IMO.

Shame too, cuz I keep hearing how it has like the best story of these games n some other shyt, that's probably gotten some extra glaze cuz of at least one of the main characters dying. I've not gotten anywhere near that point or even gotten that character unlocked yet, but I've gotten accidentaly spoiled yeards ago on the outcome of at least one character. And I was able to logicially deduced who it was anyways since they weren't in the fighting game that came out years later, lol!

Thats how they finessed me too....

I will say one of the best characters does come from p3 tho

Cyberpunk and the second horizon game. Legit only played it for 2 hours and never picked it up again, which is weird because I really liked the first game.
