Very disappointing game unfortunately - the controls and level design aren't as satisfying as Ragebound, and the boss battles are straight up asssssssss for the most part, so basically it is inferior in terms of the bread and butter aspects of 2d action-platformers. What it does better is upgrade options, combat and soundtrack, so if your focus on those areas I'd get it over Ragebound.

Basically a rougelike which mixes city building, pinball and ball-shooting. Extremely addicting but I didn't really enjoy it until I started zeroing in on fusing your different types of balls into more and more powerful balls. This, along with the variety of champions make it one of the better rougelikes I've finished. I could take or leave the city building aspect, but you don't have to focus too much on that part of the game.
