Probably my goty so far - this is a detective game in which you follow up leads and find key information by having conversations with the 20 or so characters in the game in order to solve a variety of mysteries and also "save" the people attending a seance in an 19th century Irish hotel by convincing them not to attend the seance. It is kind of like Golden Idol games but not heavy on the puzzles - instead, it is a heavy on the snooping/detective/lead-following stuff and focuses far more on a coherent narrative with lots of background and character development. Really dope game for me personally with some spooky stuff thrown in. Only issue is that some random aspects of story progression aren't that clear and Day 2 can be a little boring with you just going from bedroom to bedroom a lot.

Nah bro. I have my Portal, so I play these games for 1-2 hours most days with my feet up. Most of these games are no more than 20 hours long and a lot are less than 10 hours.

Great beat em up roguelike published by Dotemu. Feels good to play, has a solid challenge and progression is good if you put the time in. Put 30 hours in and didn't complete all the side stuff. Great art style with some solid lore stuff there if you are interested. Best of all, you can completely break the game in many different ways through the ritual system. Highly recommended.

The Witcher 3 – I absolutely despise the loot system in this game, but everything else about it is A1. Story, world, characters top tier. I just never vibed with the way loot was handled.

Resident Evil 2 & 3 Remakes - Solid overall. They do a great job modernizing the originals while keeping the tension and atmosphere intact.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty (DLC) - I liked this ending way more than the original. Idris Elba was a good addition and really elevated the story. It felt more focused and emotional.

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet – This was my reintroduction to Pokémon since Gen 1. It wasn’t bad by any means, but I’ve honestly outgrown Pokémon as a whole. I don’t know how grown adults play this shyt.

Hades 2 – Another “Last of Us–type” situation for me: the story was stronger in the first game, but the gameplay is better in the sequel. Still very good, just shines in different ways.

I’m currently playing Death Stranding. I like the game so far but this really didn’t need to be open world.
