So far...nothing. :unimpressed:

But my immediate backlog is this, in no order:
  • and Roger
  • Dispatch
  • Skate Story
  • Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel
  • The Midnight Walk
  • Ghost of Yotei (+ Platinum)
  • FF7 (og)
Some likely changes to my gaming habits this year compared to last year:

  • I finished 30 games last year but this year I'll aim for fewer (20) as I'm behind on a bunch of long ass JRPGs, starting with Metaphor and I have a bunch of roguelikes that will eat up my time. I also have a new job.
  • I'm hoping to buy fewer games because of my long backlog but also I'm broke as fukk.
  • I'll probably stick to two full-price games - Nioh 3, Onimusha and maybe Saros, and of course GTA6 if it comes out.

What about y'all?

Taking my spot up in here. Shamefully I haven't completed any games since 2023 die to various real life reasons.
My main gaming goals are to work a little bit on my PS5 backlog and hopefully buy an Analogue 3D and replay some N64 classics. The only new games I have on my radar at the moment are Resident Evil Requiem and GTAIV.

1. Shogun Showdown (Playstation Portal) (9/10) *

Really well crafted turn-based roguelike that is both really difficult and really addictive. I've seen people compare it to "Into The Breach" but basically it is similar to "Balatro" in that it is a compelling, frustrating experience until it clicks and you begin to see the layers of depth. In saying that, it isn't a 100 or 1000 game like Balatro or VS; more like Ball X Pit, in which you play non-stop for 30 hours and them move on.

* I actually beat the final boss a few days ago, but didn't realise that was the completion until today so...I'm putting it in 2026. :beli:
