I wonder what kind of cpu will be in the Scorpio. All we know is that it's 8 core and AMD is doing it.

Has to be 2.2 ghz or less as that's the fastest a jaguar based CPU has ever been. and that's in a desktop where power and Heat are not a concern.

I used to build my own pcs back in the day. You got your 3 core components, cpu, gpu, ram.

You literally just said what the cpu clock speeds will be. So obviously the Scorpio will have a much better gpu since the processor won't be incredibly different than what's going in the 4Pro.

You need both, they do separate things.

A Gpu can't make up for a weak CPU or vice versa.

What this means is that PS4 games that were bottlenecked by the CPU, would be the same for the Pro.

It's the same company making the internals though dog. The CPUs in both consoles right now are "weak" compared to their PC counterparts.

AMD is also doing the same shyt for the Scorpio. Octacore cpu.
