With this much computing power what are the odds of every building being unlocked for fully access inside @MeachTheMonster

:ohhh:

That's what I'm talking about.

Think about gta using this to make all the buildings accessible, or all the NPCs be persistent in that world going about their lives.

Or maybe the animals in far cry really sleep/hunt etc.

The implications of this tech are gonna be huge. Its just up to devs to leverage it. I hope Sony and Microsoft can get together to make it cost effective for devs to experiment with this stuff. If its only on Xbox 3rd party devs will be reluctant to put resources into the tech.

Someone on Gaf interpreted that Microsoft probably would try and use this type of pr to gradually wean people onto online only gaming. I can see single player campaigns being much more expansive but without the cloud, you get a "downgraded" game so to speak and you know how people are with downgrades.

Then again Destiny is online only so what am I saying? I say go for it with CLEAR TRANSPARENT wording so people know what they're dealing with. Of course not every game needs to go this route but you know what I mean.

The destruction shown in the Crackdown demo could actually make DBZ titles feel like DBZ.
This and my dream spider man game with a fully populated and destructible Manhattan (crowd reacts to destruction, destruction is persistent, and the more destruction, the worst your public persona becomes) would have me like :wow: :blessed:

future...get here...please :mjcry:

Crackdown 3 effectively turns your Xbox One into the most powerful console ever made

:wow:

I really want to see this up and running (like a downloadable demo/beta).

Seems to be limited to 4 people right now so I guess my worries about lag and server connectivity, in regards to this, wont come to fruition.

Really hope this is what they are hyping it up to be tho, could mean some big things for games in the future.
told yall haters about Dat CLoud

haters always are going to hate what they dont understand.

TO give you an idea of what this guy is talking about in this game... look no further than here.

Think about all the gaming rules ingrained in us that will be broken.

Devs will have to go about building worlds/missions/gameplay much differently, and we will have to think very different about how we play in them.
truth is, what should happen is a combination of recent game developments you've heard about.

procedural generated cities/areas + Destructible Everything.

This will make for huge sandbox games where you can just tear up everything in site. or not.. your choice.
