parry mechanics but only when it’s extremely difficult to pull off, so when your back is against the wall you really have to lock in. No better feeling then parrying multiple shyt while at critical health

^ To add to that

Having forest, volcanic, sea, snow, crystal cave, desert regions
Basically anything but water temples.

Not reading through every reply to see if it's been posted, but any RPG with a theiving system is getting abused by me, expeditiously. 30 minutes into any given playthrough I'll have the guards on payroll and I'm V.I.P. at every fence in the game.

This is actually like my current Wartales playthrough. I'm still only about halfway through the story yet my squad is filthy rich. Steal from everybody and murderered the guards each time they pressed the issue until I got the ability to bribe them off. I laugh at some people saying they only have one of each type of character in their party. I currently am at 23 and still recruiting, 13 days worth of food stored.

Damn I love being the bad guy :wow:
First thing that came to mind for me, because I'm playing Final Fantasy Tactics right now and you can steal OP equipment fairly early on.

Some tropes I dig:
- Cracked walls that you can use a charge attack to break through to get to a secret room or section.

- I miss secret characters in fighting games that only unlocked if you beat arcade mode with their counterparts.

- Gliding...not flying! Gliding.

- Dodge rolls with very short invincible windows that skilled players can take advantage of.

- New Game+ unlocking extra cut scenes that expand the story. (the one thing The Bouncer got right in the PS2 days).

- Starting the game with an OP character with all abilities unlocked to give you an idea of how strong your character can be if you put in the time.

Games that go out of their way to have random npcs mention in game shyt that's sort of vague or not readily available at the moment, only for you to find the item/or satisfy the action needed to go back to that person and get a reward or some sort of 'thank you' dialogue.
:wow:
