Gaming with no audio, anyone else do this?

Throw my earphones into my Note and listen to music.

I don't turn the volume on the game all the way down, but I will turn the ingame music off, and listen to my shyt. I usually only do that with sports/driving/fighting or strategy games

lol at dudes using multiple headphones to pull this off. I'm glad the PC has no problem playing and mixing audio

but I usually prefer to hear the ingame music in any kind of immersive narrative game

I remember the trouble I was going through trying to play music while playing Uncharted 2 online years ago on PS3.

red dead redemption actually let you stream music on your ps3 while you played the game. It was one of the only games that let you do that.

Yea, they need to make a new red dead redemption for PS4.

This. A game like The Last of Us or Mass Effect I listen to the game. Fallout or Skyrim I'll listen when there's dialog but when I'm just trekking to a new location I might listen to music. Depends on the game

When I game I need to hear the sound and only the sound. Unless its fighting games, I kinda prefer to some of those without the back ground music.

I can't listen to other music/headphones while playing. completely throws me off

Depends on the game, with some I'll lower the volume and have some music playing or a podcast but never completely mute the in-game audio.
