Don't hate until you've seen it. I read the script, and it was completely unoriginal, but pretty entertaining. It looked to me like it could be a Bad Boys type hit, and those films are at like 40 and 20% on Rottentomatoes. Just don't walk in expecting a real drama like L.A. Confidential. It's pure popcorn, but that doesn't necessarily make it bad.

We saw it tonight. It was alright... nothing special but entertaining enough with some solid action sequences. Don't expect Goodfellas. The film doesn't have much range or depth to it. It's pretty by-the-numbers. It's an action flick that just so happens to be set in 1940's L.A.

Gosling was swagged the fukk out tho

Not all violence is interesting. To me saying a movie will be good because it has violence in it is like saying a movie will be good because it has some fine women in it.
