That or loans. Those are hell for a student to pay back. I took $1000 out last year and I've still got about 500-600 left on it still. Hard to pay back when you're in the classroom full time.

Think JC give scholly to some athletes and its JC a lil loan ain't gonna hurt him. Son probably didn't keep his grades up to par to qualify straight outta hs for major D1. Nothing wrong with a life lesson

Whatever he did worked, his son seems to be a nice kid with his head on straight. I just don't understand the need to tell your kid he has to pay his own way through college when you're rich. I watch the show Shark Tank and Kevin Leary said he'll pay for all of his his kids to go to any college they want to and get all the degrees they want but after college he's cutting them all the way off. I can understand that to an extent but to cut them off after high school is something I can't understand.

I'm sure GP2 will be taken care of just fine in terms of inheritance and what not, I don't have a problem with him having to work for it like an average teenager would, knowing what he has to fall back on in the future.
