I think the only thing that they're taking into consideration is the L in the loss column for the Heat, nothing else even matters, not even the actual intended point of this thread. nikkas in here can be so desperate for "see I told you so!" moments in here that this is the result.

In all fairness, Lebron was skillfully limited. He couldn't post, hit the jumper consistently, and didn't play off the ball often. Losing to Dallas gave Lebron a wake up call to improve his game. In this current stage, Lebron is a better player who works hard on his jumper shot and range and is now playing on the low block and playing off the ball. Lebron is about efficiency and giving his best at 100% from the beginning of a game till the end. The guy hasn't slack and coast on games since the Heat lost the Finals. The new improved Lebron will give defenders from the 90s that work no matter what defense is thrown at him.

If defenses was so good in the 90s and 80s then why were 24 out 27 teams at one point avg more than 100ppg? Even though scoring has increased recently only 1/3 of the league avg more than 100ppg now a days...

Again if Dominque Wilkins was able to score 30ppg on good efficiency then why couldn't Lebron who's stronger, faster and way more talented than Dominque Wilkins

What in the hell does any of this have to do with perimeter players these days living in the paint?

People like Mullin, Miller, Drazen, Hornacek were GREAT jump shooters. They shot over 50%, but they weren't doing it by driving to the basket every play. Did you even watch basketball back then, or just go by stats?

The point is, Lebron would've had to be better from the perimeter alot sooner. Even Michael Jordan had to develop his mid range game.

MJ isn't in Lebron league. It's a joke when I hear MJ is as good or better than Lebron. Lebron is better than him in most aspects of the game of Basketball.

First off Lebrons jumper "today" is wet as sh!t, even when it wasnt very few guys could have effectively hand checked somebody with not just the strength and speed of Lebron but his handles, passing ability and understanding of the game itself. Lebron is an all time great not some one trick pony.
