Payton conveniently forgot to mention how this would benefit Bron on the defensive end. If he were allowed to get physical with Jordan, Pip, GP, Nique, etc. He would have shut they asses down. His combination of size, strength, speed, and quickness would have made him the best perimeter defender of all time.

GP always telling the truth. Lebron would think twice about going to the lane if he played in the Oakley, Mahorn, Lambeer, Rodman. Lebron would be a jump shooter in that era, he wouldn't have the heart to drive to the basketball with those monsters in the paint. Kobe would've dominated in any era.
:what:
I swear this site is full of retards.

While overall defenses are better today(and have been for awhile)I agree about the bigs, the interior and rim defense has been almost non existant. nikkaz are literally having all time great seasons finishing at the rim this year.

Wade (75% at rim) Lebron (79% at rim), KD (76% at rim)Kobe (70% at rim in his 17th season)

And You can't blame nikkaz for not taking advantage because there's no big man in the paint that scares you.

Watch this tape of Jordan scoring 63 on the Celtics and tell me how that era was harder than this one.

I think Lebron would of been fine, but he would of had to man up and get a mean streak. It was a MAN's game back then. Image if this happened today. Rodman wasn't even ejected lol.

Boston defense wasn't good at all man wise as they didn't have the personnel to defend MJ but their team defense was okay. It was just one of those games for Michael.
You know what's funny about that breh? Boston was the 1# ranked defensive team for that year. :lolbron:

Thanks for proving my point. :beli:

I find it funny all these guys have all this tape on MJ and Lebron and still think MJ is better. It's like having an Calculus book by a Algebra book and thinking Algebra is harder because it's more popular and it came first.

lol

I guess big men can knock Lebron down, but there is no perimeter player from that era that would contain Lebron.

The NBA just has much better athletes today than they did in the 1980's. Elite athletes are elite athletes in any generation but the gap between the Dennis Johnson and Danny Ainge compared to Rajon Rondo's and Jeff Teague's is :mindblown: To think Teague is as athletic as Kevin Johnson who was clearly the most athletic PG in the NBA in the late 80's early 90's. Needless to say, KJ was a much better player is a real PG. Jeff is a SG playing PG.
