His job would be alot harder, probably making him less efficient. The defenses were allowed to be more brutal and some of those teams were just crazy with defensive schemes.

I think thats the idea GP was trying to pass along. He wouldn't be as good, but still good nonetheless.

Michael Jordan led the league in Freebies every year just about. The refs blew the whistle. All this they let them play is bullshyt. They let them play because nobody hardly played defense in the 80's. It was all fun and gun.

And LeBron>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> MJ. Problem is LeBron came after Jordan is already a mythological figure. the myth greater that actual player.

:snoop: This dumb n!gga here. :what: Lebron is better than MJ in almost every single way. MJ on his best day isn't close to Lebron on his. Just face it, MJ was the past, he retired. The Bulls lost 2 more games, Bron left Cleveland, they went from 61 wins to wins in the teens. Breh move on, MJ had his time in the sun. He's old and :flabbynsick:. This Lebron time and he just much more talented than MJ. Go home son. You like that old white dude talking that shyt saying Johnny Unitas is better than Peyton Manning. :stopitslime:

you sound stoopid,..b!

just shut up,.....

oh, and johnny unitas is better than fukkin peyton manning.
as peyton manning = happy feet..
really is not clutch like unitas.
whereas unitas created what clutch is,......

you really have no idea what the fukk you are talembout......

So your saying Lebron would less efficient in an era where every team avg 100ppg and defenses were pretty much non existent. An era in which Domique Wilkens avg 30ppg on 48% fg. But Lebron would have a harder time and be less efficient huh :mindblown:

NBA scoring is at it's highest the past couple of years. It has been rising on average since the turn of the century. Not to mention in spite of what your clouded judgment says, e defenses of yesteryear were easily more brutal than anything you can see today. You try and waltz to the hole in the 90s you're getting murdered in the paint, unlike nowadays where you get rewarded.

And yes, harder defenses would make Lebron less efficient because he wouldn't drive as much and wouldn't draw so many fouls. Are you telling me if they let the defense play prison ball like they did 20 years ago he'd be playing better? :childplease:

Just remember to be at least reasonable when you're having an emotional outburst.

Oh, and to add, playing the numbers game is fine and dandy but with all the help he has I expect no less.

How are you going to say that he'd get murdered in the paint and also wouldnt draw as many fouls?

That aside I agree about his offense being less efficiient, but you don't think that his defense would be crazy? Lebron would be shutting down everyone except a few wing men.

If defenses was so good in the 90s and 80s then why were 24 out 27 teams at one point avg more than 100ppg? Even though scoring has increased recently only 1/3 of the league avg more than 100ppg now a days...

Again if Dominque Wilkins was able to score 30ppg on good efficiency then why couldn't Lebron who's stronger, faster and way more talented than Dominque Wilkins

At the top.
So the question still remains WHO would stop Lebron? I mean sure they would be more physical with him but is it far fetched to say that he would adjust his game a bit? I dont see why he would stop attacking the paint; his physical attributes are suited for that 'bully' style of ball. On the flipside if Lebron gets away with all the bullshyt fouls of today on the defensive side, he'd be an even nastier defender in the 90s.

LOL I love basketball fromt he 90s and all but some of these old heads need to shut the fukk up already. I swear they only talking because they threatened by the new generation.

They played at a much facer pace in the late 80's early 90's that's why scoring it up. Do you understand what pace is?

more shots = more points

Watch him spin the hell out of this comment a page later. Stupid ass 90's fans. :heh:

Why can't you guys take it for what it is, not what you delusion yourself for it to be. I am not going to say David Justice, Ron Gant, and Otis Nixon is much more athletic than the Upton's and Heyward because they aren't then again Deion and Kenny Lofton is faster than all three of them by a margin as well.
