So @FAH1223 you continue to claim the chemical attack was some rebel false flag with zero evidence supporting this assertion. What's your proof for this? It's telling you can't even argue against the strike without relying on weak conspiracy. You really think a Goverment that's disappeared thousands, tortured thousands, and always conducts indiscriminate airstikes is incapable of using chemical weapons on what it likely considered a military target? Unless you argue against this position you are engaging in diversion.

This entire situation is strange. The Syrian gas attack has no rationale to Assad who had all but won the war. Even if you account for Trump's lack of logical thinking this response is excessive even for him. What's the end objective here?:jbhmm:

This is the midgame. But who are the players and who are the pieces.

So they hit this particular base because they believe Sarin is stored there. Sooooo

- wouldn't that mean you're endangering the lives of everyone in the area?
- if you believe Sarin is onsite but there are Russians stationed there wouldn't that mean they're complicit since Syria was supposed to give up it's chemical stockpile?
- this just took a sh*t on the markets.
- far right is pissed
- this might not be the political capital win Trump thought he was going to get

And that's why it's stupid and dangerous for this moron to give so much free will to commanders on the ground.

Turkey shot their jet down without a peep from those people. Every week their ambassadors are getting urged to the land of immortality.

Lol if Assad made decisions simply according to international reaction he wouldn't use barrel bombs or disappear thousands. Besides his military has weak chains of command and they care less about discriminating on targets in rebel areas. His calculation is probably right since this attack is symbolic and the big picture is unchanged.

Why can't any of you guys make an argument against air strikes while accepting the chemical attack is likely real?
