I think some of you are misunderstanding the difference between not caring and having no sympathetic feelings over the situation.Dumb TLR nikka: What has Ukraine and Russia got to do with Black folks though?
Nobody is saying Black ppl shouldn't care in regards to staying on top of the news to be aware and learn of the widespread inevitable implications (such as gas prices, food, etc, etc) that all of this will have on us, society in general, here in America.
What ppl are saying is that maybe Black ppl shouldn't be too emotionally invested shedding a tear or two, kneeling for a prayer, or putting up Ukrainian bumper stickers/flags on their cars, on social media, in their house, etc, etc knowing what we know about some of the activities that go on in their country.
It's the same thing for Black folks who think it's ok to sympathize with Putin and Russia's aggression in combating the so-called “woes” against they have with the West/America.

One gas station was 3.33 and the next door one was 3.59.
I jumped on that 3.33. To get half a tank so I can just add a little bit of gas as I need it until things level out. I walk to the grocery store already.
