sounds kind of interesting. Got any more info on that school?I gave a younger gas station cat information on going to a coding school. Told him if he can save up about 5K, then apply and in 3 months he can be making 50-60K/yr.. The deposit is about 1K, and the rest is paid back after you finish the program. But 5K so he would have some money to live on.

Figure out a location you might want to go to.
Call them if interested and to speak to the head person, if you have other questions or want to sit in on a class.
Its not a fluke, there are similar schools popping up.
Figure which coding area you want to focus in on, do some research on it, etc.
Most important, they actively look for job placements for you
They have minority scholarships that will pay for a portion.
To me it seems like a great move. 3 months, go from an amateur to career ready in a highdemand and well paid field. 1K downpayment or so, and the rest paid off in installments. Have skill(s) useful in multiple industries.
If I was high school senior I would try to see if I could do a session over a summer before going to 2 year or 4 year school....
....Or just do it before going into a university if you not expecting scholarships.
