Pau has shown he can play defense in LAL. He was rock solid for Phil Jackson playing at the 5. He was also okay for Mike Brown.

The last two years though he had injuries but I guess last year no one on that team was playing defense anyway. He barely made rotations but I guess that could be a case of mailing it in

Pau was a decent defender during the Phil years, but age has caught up to him.

I thought he played well offensively last year

His defense regression is the big issue.

What ever regression he had certainly ain't worse than what boozer gave us. Plus he's a legit 7 footer. And you certainly can't coach size.

I don't know too much about the Bulls...but it sounds like Noah is like the heart of that team.
