That is fukked up. They killed 4 other gators, just because those four gators knew the gator that did the attack. Mind you now the law found the kid intact.

It's been stated but gators are high on the food chain. Not a good idea to suddenly remove them. Disruption would be chaotic and far reaching.

As far as this child, this is awful. People have got to be more careful with their children. It has, again, been stated but that kid must have wandered quite close for that gator to snatch him.

CNN said he was in about a foot of water so that means he was somewhere around waist deep before he got snatched. Since it was already dark, it's much more understandable how the gator snuck up.
