It's not common unless you're going near a lake. You have to be stupid or extremely careless to get attacked or killed by a gator. They're docile as hell and only attack when you enter their territory when they're hungry. I've walked within feet of 8-12 foot gators sunning on the banks of water. They either sit there watching you or go into the water unless you decide to mess with it.

Every one of these stories about people getting attacked by gators involves somebody just chilling waaaaay too close to the bank of freshwater with a small child or a small animal. If you wanna see a lot of em go to Orlando wetlands in Christmas Florida and walk all the way to the path called alligator alley....Again, don't bring a small child or small animal along cause there's no fences or anything stopping the gators from crossing the same walkway you're on.

Parents should've been watching their kid :yeshrug:

They on Youtube talking about they were but, I'd bet they were sitting next to the water when it happened.

People trip about race way too much here to be honest.

Poor kid got eaten alive. 2 year old kids are innocent. And if he was anything like my son's, he was probably very curious about world, always trying to explore, and not afraid of many things. Very easy for a young boy to get caught up something like that.
Please tell that to the white supremacists that could give a flying fukk when negro children are killed by police and and other wild animals. When compassion is showed toward our youth will we maybe start reciprocating such feelings.

And please take your message of "race unity" to Reddit or Yahoo.com. We could care less about the trite "take the high road" narrative your type enjoys parroting here.

the wildlife people put baby gators in almost all lakes even man made ones here in florida, I heard once they get a certain size they're suppose to catch them and relocate them to bigger lakes(but they don't)......where I use to stay there was a lil man made lake and I watched gators go from babies to adults...and the subdivision I live in now has like 6 small man made lakes with gators in about 4 of them and they have signs up that say " don't molest gators and don't fish" but I always see white kids out there fishing and shyt lol

Yup, that's the place. It's actually safer now than it was like 6 years ago before they changed the landscape and trimmed all the overgrown vegetation. I remember riding a bike through there one time back then and 5-8 foot gators were hopping into the water from the bank like every 5-10 feet as I rode through....Then there was one spot where I found like 80 gators all piled up around each other in the shallow water.

I think they relocated a ton of the gators cause I haven't seen nearly as many since all the changes...You'll still see em walking across like in the photo though.
