Charlie Kirk has two young daughters; if you're trying to take the "high road" just say your prayers are with his young daughters who lost their father. But to say you want to "continue his work" like he was fighting on the front lines of the civil rights movement is so fukking tone deaf you'd think Newsome was the one shot in the ear and not Trump. They are going overboard to eulogize this man in ways that I would only expect from the right.

Does Newsome not understand that "his work" consisted of slandering MLK, something even the average conservative is (increasingly less) cautious of doing and he said the Civil Rights Act was a mistake. That is not work you want to continue. Democrats go out of their way to shoot themselves in the foot.
