A vengeful fakkit got mad Gawker told the world he's gay and went on a mission to destroy them many years later. Disgraceful.
I can't even be mad at Peter Thiel. Looks like he won in the end. But really though these Gawker guys did it to themselves. They were complete idiots through the whole thing. The court ordered them to take the video down and not only did they refused but they wrote an article basically mocking the court. Then during a deposition they ask them what kind of sextape would they not allow? And they responded only if one of the parties were younger than four years old. They sarcastically told a bunch of jurors they'd allow child porn on their site of the party was older than 4

I never visited that site, but I don't get the obsessive hate it gets. Just seems like most of it comes from other racists that sympathize with Hogan (like Donald Sterling) being punished for his views, and Gawker being supposedly left-wing.
Not defending Gawker itself though. They ignored something that could've easily prevented all this, and that awkward pedo talk in court (about them being fine with exposing celeb/political-related child porn if they're over 4yrs old) was inexcusable. But I'm still gonna congratulate them for letting us know what Hogan is like and ruin his reputation. And fukk anyone who's butthurt about that.

Gawker (the entire network) got what was coming to them. Play around in dirt you're gonna get dirty. They have had biased and racist attack campaigns aimed at many black folks, so it's kind of ironic they were done in by one of their own (pause), a gay white man.
The owner tried to throw out that whole "I'm not racist, my boyfriend is black" when he got exposed for not hiring any black folks, especially after Gawker ran a series of articles highlighting how other companies don't hire any black folks
. They tried to make themselves out to be rebels, but they were no different than any other media company. Won't miss em, hopefully complex and the ringer are next
