Magic retired, and when the Lakers rights of refusal finally expired, he tried to take a secret physical to play for the Magic with Shaq and Penny, the new viral blood test existed that would have revealed there was no HIV present in his system and exposed the hoax by the Lakers.

Yeah, I read Magic use to party/hang out a lot with Eddie and Arsenio (both rumored homos) back in the 80s.
