One of the couple went over to the man and took a swing at him, sparking the fight.

There's no side of the story that needs to be heard. That's damn near attempted murder to two people who had their backs turned and couldn't prepare for the impact of the chair. I hope he gets locked up.

“Everyone was commenting on them fighting,” Sharef told the Daily News. “It was a big scene.”

One of the couple went over to the man and took a swing at him, sparking the fight. The big man was able to get the other man on the ground and stomp him before the injured man’s boyfriend stepped in to separate the two.

That’s when Sharef caught the chair slam on video.

Sharef said he never hear gay slurs and doubts the incident was a hate crime. The restaurant, in the heart of Chelsea’s gay club district, is known as a gay hangout, he said.

One of the victims got in touch with Sharef and indicated that he hoped to press charges against the unknown attacker.

“I didn’t get the impression it was a hate crime because the other guy started the fight,” Sharef said.

this is exactly what i'm talking. I knew that shyt wasn't how it was told.

Fam, theres always threads of people getting attacked, beat up, jumped, etc. and people come in there in crack some jokes no matter who it is. This time it happened to be gay people and for some reason everybody gets sensitive. They got KO'd but they didnt die. Dumbass got caught on video, he'll get his consequence and thats it. I dont see people caping this hard for women, thats for damn sure.
