I'd say death threats are probably taking it too far, but she deserves the negative reception she's getting.
Race and gender dynamics aside, it's insensitive as fukk to push someone close to someone who just died to essentially say they weren't shyt.
But this is a case where as a black person, specifically black men, you aren't allowed to be viewed and judged as a sum of all your parts. You'll only ever be weighed by your worst and lowest moments by many. It's disgusting.
