Last gb I ever checked for. I had that emulator on my dell back in the day. shyt had heat for days.
I remember the first time I saw someone with one, they were playing Tony Hawk Pro Skater and I was BLOWN away by the graphics on such a small device. I looked at my Game Boy Color with disgust. 
The wait til that Christmas when I finally got one was absolutely brutal. But well worth it.
To this day a lot of my favorite gaming experiences have been on this device, and they are largely not even talked about nowadays. A lot of classics on GBA like Megaman Battle Network, Sonic Battle, Legacy of Goku series, so on and so forth. Not even mentioned these days. Can't believe it's been 20 years. I'm officially flabby and sick.

My mom was a real one. Bought me the advance so I would have something to do on a flight cross country to see family by myself. It was pink but

That screen must be modified because there's no way the original GBA had a backlight.
I still have mine with Pokémon Red, F-Zero and Final Fight One. Always wanted a SP though
