On any given play, Wilkerson lines up at any point along the defensive line. He’s asked to do more in his defense than almost any down player in football.

Guess what? We ALSO have that now in S Rich and Coples.

Wilkerson is more of a run stopping d-e, and that's what 3-4 ends usually are and he has gotten better at rushing the passer, but he's good at stopping the run and we still got gashed in the run. Sione Pouha play was never replaced. Coples didn't show anything until end of the year, and we don't know what he will become. Richardson is a freakish athlete and looked good in college, that's all we know.

Nobody on our defense are a known commodity except Wilkerson & Cromartie. Our defense is average at best but will overachieve cause of Rex, but I don't think they will be that good.

Second, I believe Elis if he stays healthy will fill in easily into Siohne shoes.

And I don't know what you've been watching...but Sheldon Richardson already has shown he's a problem. Rex had him lined up as a LB, Nose, and a DE in the same game. His burst at the LOS is RIDICULOUS. He's gonna require two blockers....which means Wilk is going to beast even MORE.

I know what I see. I don't need Grantland, Bucky Brooks or anyone else to tell me that having the versatility we do have is going to cause problems for the Brady's or the world who rely on mismatches before the snap but will have problems doing so when not knowing who on our line is going to play where.

That's the beauty of it all that you're late to and need to see it happen that I already foresee happening.
