My prediction is it will be rough for a season or two as far as ratings are concerned but then will bounce back once Americans realize their life is empty as fukk at it's core. Actual football will be missed.
speak for yourself.

I havent watched a football game all year and my life has been dope. :manny:

Yea it's bad bruh. It's been unfolding for several years now. It's the perfect storm. Forgot to mention Domestic Violence and bullshyt punishments.

The on-field product is hot garbage. Online play is trash, tackling is awful, etc. I've been watchin this sport religiously for about 25 years now and I notice this changed heavily.

Also this greedy azz owners squeezing franchises in certain markets. The Chargers to LA was a terrible idea. Making citizens foot half the bill for building stadiums.
the League peaked that night the Seahawks beat the Packers when it should not have been a touchdown, and they had replacement refs.

its been down hill ever since.

You forgot the big one...CTE.
shyt that no NFL fan really cares about. DV and the punishment argument is just something they conveniently like to use and excuse as to why they don’t watch anymore instead of the real reason they don’t (Kaep). When is the last time you heard someone say they stopped watching because of all the CTE issues?

this is another issue the league has brewing, the old big name QB's are trash or close to it, and they don't have any ready to fill the void. being this is the only position they market and make into stars, they're going to be left with a vacuum. cam is the only dude who they had on the cusp and they keep letting him get torn down, wilson took a step back, rodgers is rodgers but it seems like he's never pushed to make himself a bigger star, mariota and carr keep getting injured...like who are their next mannings, brady's, brees'?
Wentz, Goff and Dak are going to be starters for the next 15 years

Deshaun is going to be good and the Tribisky era starts tonight

Jameis and Tyrod are above average

This is the one thing that'll end up hurting the NFL the most. When less and less kids start playing the game itll affect it on all levels. We are still a ways away from that tho. HS and college ball are still religion in a bunch of states and these are the states that produce the most NFL players

Each issues is not stand alone. The NFL is dealing with quite a bit of issues at one time. Yes, moms are not allowing their son to play football. It's really happening here in Texas. The Little Leagues have dramatically changed things up. Now, I did attend a little league game in the hood and they don't give a shyt about concussions. I saw this kid get rock and he was rolling on the ground. Dudes mom was like, get up and walk it off. I was like lady, your son is concussed. :dahell:

Also, over the years, the NFL wanted to expand, so they pandered to non-hardcore fans. Domestic violence is a huge issue bruh and the NFL has fumbled this issues badly. No pun intended.
