Gen V is the Most Disgusting Deranged Show

Yeah, I'm not into these shows. The Boys and Gen V are too disgusting and gross for me.

I've never watched either show. I've only seen a few clips of The Boys, and that's enough.

I watched the Boyz up until the last season. It was getting to be too much for my psyche and the storyline started to get iffy to tolerate the grossness. Gen V just took too long to come out with a second season. I know dude died and all but now im disinterested.

I mean it’s an adaptation of one of Garth Ennis’ works. And one that was written out of spite for Superheroes. The only superhero that dude fukks with is Superman, and antiheroes like The Punisher. He also wrote The Punisher Kills The Marvel Universe lol. The show is actually more tamed than the comics.

I think he does have a point, as if humans have those abilities some of them would do it. It shows what perversions and depravity people will get into if they had unlimited power and arw in their comfort zone, without fear of being exposed.

You have to look no further than the Diddy freakoffs. And more recently, the young Republicans group chat, in which they were exposed praising Hitler, using racial slurs, and celebrating raping women.

I do like how the shows political commentary reflects today's real life climate.

As far as being grossed out, I've seen a lot worse in my younger days when I had a fascination with gore videos.

Can't speak for the comic but the first season & half or two of The Boyz was very good. The political, superhero satire was well-done and even the cac humor had its moments. The plotline is serious enough to keep watching. As the seasons go on the degeneracy gets too ridiculous I watched season 1 of Gen V and thought it was solid, but am over the college demographic more than anything.​

first off these are living science experiments and things don't always go according to plan so when we inevitably start doing serious gene-splicing we're gonna see some odd outcomes and this is one of the shows that will be referenced like terminator is referenced anytime the danger of A.I and robots is being discussed,

you'd be surprised how many people are into vomiting during sex.

I assume "they" have been doing these stupid mass suicidal experiemtns for a while. The files and stories are out there. They've made lawn mower sized spiders with IQ of a 16 year old, snakes that walk, etc...

First season of The Boys was fire ngl. It's been downhill ever since though and I haven't watched since season 2 even though I have prime. Every thing I hear about it and (Gen V) in passing sounds wack.
