Just watched the finale, overall 
You could tell they had to cut back on some VFX with Godolkin controlling everybody and the way it was shot. Him winding up being a victim of his own hubris was par for the course 
. At least Marie dropped the chosen one act and took help from her friends, even butt boy

Review of the season:
This whole season was just to upgrade Marie's power, nothing else really went on if it wasnt in service of that. And I guess you can say they all united again.
The lame Supe who stores ppl in his ass joke went on for too long and all of it to set up him bringing in the squad at the end.
All of the Godolkin shyt was bad.
- Sage, who is the smartest person in the world, who predicts almost everything being surprised that Godolkin doing what he did after he was healed.
- Godolking embracing the hand shyt because it looks cool is dumb. Why wasnt he off in a corner somewhere controlling ppl instead of in the middle of everything?
- Why didnt Emma just stomp on him as first to kill him instead of knocking him back?
- Why didnt Marie just kill him when he was still under control instead of waiting til it wore off, all that talking just gives him a chance to take control of her friends?
- Why didnt the friends leave with everyone else before the control ended? They think he cant control Marie, they know he can control them. Why risk staying there?
Ima check out Season 5 of the boys, just to finish it but if the mexico or prequel spinoff dont do anything for me episode 1, ima just drop the series/ip

Season was a little disappointing to me, although I did enjoy it. I feel like one more episode could would have given the writers an opportunity to flesh things out a bit.

Really fun season, giving Andre's dad his role on the story was a great move imo, they were lucky they both had the same powers.
Godolki was a great villain, sad to see him go tbh, but then again he was wayyyy too powerful to stick around, hope we see Homelander's reaction to him in The Boys.

Yeah S1 was better, a lot of shyt happened this season simply because the plot demanded it rather than logic. Emma becomes big and doesn't just stomp on Godolkin
Marie doesn't kill Godolkin at first because they have to do another fake out heel turn
It was good to see my dog A-Train, his story has been one of the best storylines out of any of the two Boys related shows
