Real talk. My uncle keeps fussing with all of us about retirement. He retired at 50. He was like “do you want to be working at 50 or 60? My goal is to get you retired in 15yrs”

Did you even read my comment? I didn’t state anything about employers or what kind of jobs pay daily. I stated that I don’t think the average person has the money management skills to handle getting paid daily. It would require them to save those daily payments up and make more sound decisions leading into the larger bills due each month.

It’s not that. Everything just costs more. Gen X are actually in the same boat. Being in your 40’s and up, you’re either overqualified, or you have to take a pay cut or battling gen z and millennials for the same jobs. It’s a free for all.

Gen Z are not smarter than previous gens esp Millennials, it’s just that the dangling carrot is way too high and rotten.

Nah. They won’t. We will see if they will improve the work life balance. A lot of them are content to living in apartments with 2 other roommates, which helps cut down expenses.

This is from economic standpoint. Folks are having less kids as is so with a lowered cost of living, covering their share is easier than doing it alone.

However, this is opportunity for the overachievers and investors to come in and takeover.
