We going to act like millennials and gen x aren't glued to their phones too. I walk around in my daily life and see most ages are throwed off.

The only gen I'll give a pass as not being so socially awkward are boomers.

This is true as well, but Millenials and Gen X grew up in a time when they still had to learn basic social skills. Gen Z grew up on a steady diet of cellphones and iPads. A lot of those skills are underdeveloped in them.
