Why have separate gender classifications in professional basketball, tennis, or the Olympics

What makes a toucan more or less evolved than a bald eagle? What makes a chimp more evolved than a baboon? Nothing...they are all evolved to survive and thrive in their habitat.

Gender is a social construct....which means it has social FUNCTION.

Gender-neutral parenting is just one strategy (one that I disagree with, you let a kid decide their gender once they understand what it is. Before that you raise them to have the most FUNCTION in society...which usually is to ascribe to the gender binary).

Biological sex is not a construct....Things like testosterone have nothing to do with gender...those are traits of biological sex. There's plenty of people with hella estrogen who still mentally identify as male.
