Gender reveal disappointment.. anyone else been through it?

Me and my girl pregnant, super excited. Her family and mine just got done with a lil gender reveal where we found out it's a girl.

I'm excited that it's a healthy baby.... But can't lie that when I saw the pink I was pretty disappointed, for numerous reasons. Don't know the first thing about lil girls, have always wanted a lil mini me to talk sports with, girls, teach football, etc. Already picked out a boy name

With a girl I gotta worry about so much more in the world... Anyone else ever have some gender disappointment?

If they grow up to be a lesbian, you can still do all of these things with them. Also, I would be wary of assigning a gender to your child, who hasn’t even been born yet. Let them decide and then they’ll reveal their gender to you. Please be careful.
