Damn, looks like Elon had the last laugh and his purchase of X accomplished what his actual intention was. Now that his goal has been achieved I'm curious if it will continue to be a "free speech" platform. The Israeli lobby can not be happy with the direction X has gone in the last year

I wonder if Elon gets a high level position in the Trump admin if it will be the perfect excuse for him to walk away from X and hand it over to someone else who can take the blame for reverting back to censoring certain topics (including criticisms of the Trump admin during the next 4 years).

Nah, I think Twitter is done within the next two years. Though it's been a couple of days Threads and Bluesky have picked up and I don't see it slowing down.

Bluesky having a moderation team that actually moderates with a block button that is so powerful there's no way around it. It makes a big difference It's old Twitter before the golden age, everyone is chill and happy.
