This reads like Paxton using his office on behalf of Musk. I’m not one for coincidences.
It's a direct result of tesla moving to texas. Musk comes out as a converted Republican and the AG allows him to use his office for personal gain.

Paxton alleges that Twitter's spam estimate may be "false, misleading, or deceptive" under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act. His demand letter said the state law (specifically, section 17.61) gives his office authority to demand the documents and said that Twitter has until June 27 to comply.
