It's been discussed through this thread actually. A lot of the folk are pretty shot of Trumps bullshyt, but someone may get around to answering you on this.
Ultimately the reasoning is usually, it's a good thing Trump isn't smart or America would have already been a racist country at this rate, or in the middle of a civil war. The fear is that the damage done is irreparable, and it is a signal of the beginning of the end of the American empire.

Just my opinion, but I don’t think this country will get through the election season and election itself intact. All the shyt that’s going to come to light, the various terror cells activating, the open corruption by trump’s cult and defending his open criminality, and the very real possibility that there won’t be legit elections has me thinking that the country is going to split apart within the next few years. The current model in every manner imaginable is just not sustainable.
