He has no intention of ever leaving office. He sees ruling as his birthright or something owed to him for his predecessor being elected. He’s simply acting on his hatred and cruelty. He’s going to get a lot more people killed than he has already by the time this ends.

She just doesn’t care. She has no strategy. He’s easy to fundraise against and she’s never personally going to be put at risk, nor will she live long enough at her age to feel the impact of the damage done. For these reasons, she’s content to sit around and fundraise even though she’s paid some $175,000 a year for the rest of her life anyway. All that campaigning on her end was just one big con.
