Morgan Stanley analysts are predicting that only 13 percent of savings companies receive from the GOP tax plan will go to workers, with 43 percent of those savings instead going to investors — echoing Democrats' concerns about the law, who say it doesn't do enough to immediately help workers.

Wall Street survey: Just 13 percent of GOP corporate tax cut revenue will go to workers
The analysts predicted that manufacturing companies will only pass down 9 percent of their tax savings to workers.

"Our justice system must be able to take away white supremacists’ power and show that their bigotry and violence cannot and should not be normalized or excused."

White nationalist can't find a lawyer to defend him for Charlottesville
OPINION | It should come as no surprise that attorneys are reluctant to represent Richard Spencer and his acolytes.

The thing is, there are tons of white attorneys who think just like him, but they don't want to ruin their reputation. Being racist is fine, but the label is heartbreaking to them.

Anyone with half a brain could have told them this. There is no stipulation that says you have to share the tax cut with workers, or hire more people. The greed doesn't go away, it just gets bigger.

Looks like the greens and never Hillary progressives got the last laugh

New Trump directive puts fossil fuel industries in charge of public lands

How many years gonna go by with you still bytching about past election results? :gucci:

Because a system where anyone can fukk up public lands as long as they pass enough money into the right election campaign is clearly a system we want to maintain. "Let's just just hitting D at the ballot box and keep our fingers crossed!"

Can't you see how your short-term tunnel vision has blinded you to actually addressing the problem? Anything any one executive does can be overturned by the next. If the oil companies didn't buy Trump off to get their land this time around, they would have bought someone else the next time around. Especially if oil starts getting more valuable (higher demand, lower supply), it will become more and more lucrative and this shyt is inevitable. What are you going to do then?

This is nothing but an accelerated version of the process that has been going on with EVERY president, where the highest bidders keep calling the shots over public goods. If the executive can unilaterally do such a thing, then when are the lands ever safe? What long-term benefit would Clinton being in there do?

Stop bytching about dead elections that wouldn't have led to any meaningful change anyway and start trying to figure out how to actually fix a broken situation.

The attempt at 4 dimension chess gave power to a man 10x worse than Hillary. Plain and simple.

"Our original play was to make sure that we funded the military, we kept other spending flat. That's what we passed, and yet what we got put on the House floor just a few hours later was this unbelievable budget deal that spent American taxpayer dollars," Meadows said Sunday.

I wonder why he considers the Swamp since he supports the increase in military spending. :jbhmm:

Drain the swamp (poor)?:gladbron:
