Where is the message? It's July dude...and the Democratic Party does'nt even seem to have a platform let alone a sense of unity

I'm definitely not saying we go the Schumer and Pelosi route of kowtowing to the Rethuglicans, I just think that the responses we have to the GOP have to be precise and energizing and straight to the point where the right-wing cannot spin it or try to flip it.

I still don't have the feeling that the part of the base that showed up for Obama will show up this November for the midterms

More on sloppy protocol: Legislative affairs was notified of call, checked with Mendendez COS, who said he was not trying to reach POTUS. Leg affairs said kill the call. It was patched through, however, reportedly by Kushner.

Honestly, that might be a good thing in the long run. Globalism run amok has destroyed a lot, and the WTO has constantly screwed over poor countries in order to benefit the rich. Trump knows nothing on trade, but his ignorance in this case might actually blow up the system enough that he reasserts itself on better footing. Watch how hard the business-interest side of the Republican party is going to be freaking out about this.
