Elections have consequences. If the dems hadn't lost the house and Senate maybe he would be gone by now.
The repubs are to blame for this shyt show. They don't care how unfit Trump is. Lindsey Graham admitted just a couple days ago that because it's a Republican administration, he gonna give them the benefit of the doubt.

1. white people, even liberals, subconsciously excuse or even diminish criminality when it's committed by other white people in similar socio-economic status. it's why no execs were arrested/tried post great recession and why other white collar crime is permitted to be wiped away by fines and "consent decrees"
2. the GOP sees him correctly as a vehicle for all of their policies - so long as he's doing what they've been trying to accomplish for years (tax cuts, deregulations, judges) they're willing to support him, until the last shoe drops
